A Guide to ROM Sofas: Premium1 vs. Premium2.

POSTED: February, 14, 2019

Choosing the right sofa for you and your home can be a long and sometimes confusing process. With so many designs, functions and styles to choose from it’s hard to know where to start. Here at ROM, we try to offer total flexibility when it comes to choosing your sofa from the configuration to the functions and every detail in between, but we understand that it can be tricky to know what collection will be best suited to you. To help you make your decision, we will be taking you through each of our collections to explain the differences between them. First up, are our Premium1 and Premium2 collections.

Premium1

The Premium1 collection offers the most number of different sofa designs. With a total of seven to choose from, including the Aura, one of our most popular models, the collection is the perfect marriage between modern elegance and functionality. Available in any size in increments of 20cm, the Premium1 range, like all ROM sofas, is custom-built to your exact specifications.  With options to have electronically adjustable headrests and recliners, the collection is ideal for those wanting that extra bit of tailored comfort that you can’t get from your average everyday sofa. Available in over 250 fabrics and 60 leathers, this luxury sofa collection offers two different foam choices and leg height options but is limited to just one seat depth and armrest choice.

Premium2

For some added technological flair, the Premium2 collection of sofas provides you with a few additional innovative options. From optional USB charging ports, to home cinema features and even seat warmers, this collection is ideal for those who want just that little bit more from an electronic sofa. Customisable in size in increments of 20cm, the Premium2 range does offer two armrest options and is the only range to offer two different seat depths. Featuring the same adjustable headrest and recliner options as the Premium1 models, this innovative collection has the added option of being controlled by ROM’s very own Aladin control app.

If you’re stuck choosing between two of our collections, take a look at our helpful comparison chart, and keep your eyes peeled for our next blog where we’ll take you through the differences between our Signature and Versato collections!
