NEW FOR 2016.

POSTED: February, 19, 2016

With over 250 fabrics and 60 leathers to choose from, ROM’s 2016 collection is filled with a number of trend-led textiles that are both practical as well as stylish. From a brand new colour concept created exclusively for the UK to updated popular ranges, ROM’s in-house design team is committed to providing the customer with everything they need to simplify their choice and bring their perfect sofa to life.

A brand new fabric concept, Harmony has been created especially to appeal to the UK customer. Consisting of four colourways, Dandy and Romy for upholstery and Glory and Melody for cushions, the low maintenance, high quality chenille fabrics of Harmony make up an elegant yet romantic collection that is ideal for integrating ROM’s products into British interiors. Pictured above in the sophisticated neutral hue of Dandy Silver, the Aura sofa completes the stylish and chic interior of this UK home. Thanks to the high quality yarns used to create the beautiful chenilles, the Dandy fabric is extremely low-maintenance and stain resistant, carrying the ‘Easycare’ label. Ideal for those who suffer from allergies, the fabric is dirt-repellent and does not require any further stain protection.

In addition to the brand new Harmony collection, ROM’s existing popular Chroma fabric colour concept has been redesigned for 2016. Inspired by the Scandinavian pastel trend, this colour collection consists of two plain materials that work together beautifully - the Mona chenille fabric and the Scala cosy flat woven fabric. Sitting beautifully with the Chroma plain fabrics, three luxurious Jacquard velours in trend-led designs make up the accent patterns - Linea, Flora and Luna. Working closely with Belgium’s finest weaving mills and ROM’s design team, each design is exclusive to ROM and has been grouped into four ‘worlds of colour’ - Aqua, Natura, Rosa and Tundra - to guide the customer through their ideal fabric selection. The Scala Taupe fabric and Mona Grege piping seen on this Diana sofa demonstrate the perfect pairing, bringing an inspirational and trend-led touch to this interior scheme.

Completing the offering, both new collections will be rejoined by ROM’s leading fabric and leather colour concept, Prismo, which is made up of a beautiful selection of 3 cover materials in 25 on-trend colourways. Updated last year, Prismo allows for unique and individual combinations that make it even easier for customers to create truly individual designs.
